“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8
The next 5th Sunday (April 29) 9am Service will be at St Stephen’s Emu Creek.
Our Emu Creek congregation has teamed up with the Strathfieldsaye Uniting Church and BCA (Bush Church Australia) to provide vibrant and relevant ministry to this growing area.
St Stephen’s Anglican Church is situated among the gum trees on the outer edge of Strathfieldsaye. This lovel
y old brick church was constructed in 1888. The Strathfieldsaye Uniting Church is located on the main road through Strathfieldsaye and also has a long history in the region.
Every Sunday at 9.00 am God’s people gather to honour him and build one another up.
On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month the service is held at the Uniting Church. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays the service is held at Anglican Church.
Holy Communion is held twice a month and lay people participate extensively in these services through prayers, readings, service leading and preaching.
