Pray for wisdom managing overwhelming numbers of asylum seekers attempting to cross the channel from Calais, for just and merciful outcomes for those most needy.

Ukraine

Pray for protection for communities from attacks while Kyiv awaits further military aid to defend its territory and peoples. Pray for diplomatic efforts to succeed in ending war.

National and local

Pray for all levels of government to lead with integrity and wisdom, and to use the many resources we have for the good of all people. This week we focus on the federal level and pray for the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and our local member Lisa Chesters as well as all members of federal parliament.

Pray that our sporting fields will be a safe place for all people to enjoy without bullying or intimidating behaviour.

Pray for those suffering from drug addiction – for an end to the spiral they are caught in and for a new sense of hope and security.

Pray for our emergency services who often work in traumatic situations and for long hours.

Pray for our retail industry and the valuable role they play in our local community.

LAOS: Pray for Christians in Laos to be bold in sharing their faith, despite the pressure they receive from their government and community. Pray for new believers to stand strong in Christ and hold fast to His promises.
