Witnessing the Lord work powerfully in and through people, transforming their lives and instilling His hope in them.
Interesting fact:
I used to be an ‘Oompa Loompa’. I worked in a chocolate factory and even wore blue overalls!
Bio:
Steve grew up in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, met Vanessa on a campsite on the Mornington Peninsula, they married in Doncaster, had two daughters, moved to Bacchus Marsh to do ministry there for five years, and are now in the outskirts of Bendigo.
In between all this, Steve has worked as a removalist, electronics technician, stores supervisor for electronics and school book companies, a sales representative, campsite hand later becoming manager, paper delivery boy, drumkit teacher, youth minister, Diocesan Regional youth officer, ecumenical evangelist through the 2006 Commonwealth Games, as well as enjoying being a husband, father, son and brother.
After seven years of study in the midst of family life and youth ministry, Steve achieved his Bachelor of Ministry at Ridley College in 2010. He is the Anglican Minister serving the Strathfieldsaye Uniting Church, St Stephen’s Anglican Church (Emu Creek), with the financial and prayer support of The Bush Church Aid Society of Australia (BCA), on behalf of South East Bendigo Anglican Parish.
